Technical Plans

You will undoubtedly be hugely relieved, as am I, to learn that this is the last batch of recently scanned-in castle restoration plans to be uploaded. I still have to do a final check to make sure there are no stragglers - fingers crossed. 

 This time it's all the technical plans: roof repairs, services, insulation and floor detailing. Perhaps not as exciting as other types of plan but essential. Full resolution plans may be found on this link.

 You will spot Council stamps on some of the plans, showing the hard earned granting of their official approval. The table of contents below gives a quick summary of the plans available on this blog entry.

    More fantastic plans!
    I was just looking out the window at the scenery flying by and spotted a handsome castleated house atop a hill, surrounded by trees, and just appearing over the other side of the woods was a dreaded wind farm! It suddenly brought home the horror of your experiences and made me appreciate what you were fighting against.
    I was going to write a fuller comment but realised I am waffling on and I'd probably run out of space!
    Speaking of horror, I've just realised they don't serve gin & tonic in first class at the weekend!!! What's a chap to do...

      I'm sure the castle cocktail cabinet can rustle you up a G&T, without costing you a first class rail fare! Do you know the castellated building you passed - inquiring minds and all? Again you caught my plans before I had written the accompanying text, so congratulations on being the early bird. :-)

      I'm not on facebook I'm afraid. I'll leave my email address here so drop me a line and I'll reply that way, it might be a bit more straight forward than checking back for replies here, though it might allow me to waffle more!
      I don't know the building I'm sorry, though it was definitely more castle than house. Big red sand stone (I think), quite Victorian. Not too dissimilar to Balmoral, oddly enough! Anyway, I'll stop there before yet more waffling begins.
