  1. How wonderful!!! I hope things are moving along nicely before winter weather sets in. Hopefully there will be plenty of indoor work to continue on during the bad weather. I'd gladly help if I were there, as I have a dozen years experience in construction, and masonry in particular. Also as a professional seamstress with a history of textiles I could work on wall hangings and window treatments. Who knows, I could be there next year to lend a hand!

  2. Absolutely amazing! What a brave man you are! Do you allow people to visit. I know you are in the major restoration phase but even to come and see the outside of it, it is just so beautiful.

  4. We passed the Castle today and were stunned at such an imposing building. Would love to come and visit to bring my grandsons for a look around the outside. I missed the open day hadn't seen it advertised. Look forward to following the blog 🙂

    1. My friends have I have tried to change this many times on Google Maps. Each time this has been rejected. So much for a commitment to truth on the Internet.
